Here’s a list of all iPhone, iPad, and iPod models that will get iOS 12

The iOS 12 is now available for developers
The iOS 12 was finally announced at the Apple WWDC 2018 alongside the macOS Mojave, watchOS 5, and tvOS. Of all the features introduced with iOS 12, the most notable ones are the Screen Time, Do Not Disturb, Memoji, ARKit 2, and the Apple News app among others. iOS 12 is aimed to cut down on the time that a user spends with the iPhone. The iOS 12 also comes with an improved Photos app that will now suggest sharing photos with people easier than before. In addition, the Siri has also been revamped to include Shortcuts that is similar to what Googleoffers with Google Actions. The iOS 12 is all about finding the annoying things that the users have demanded so far in the previous versions of iOS and addressing them with new features.
Apple Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, Craig Federighi said at the keynote that iOS now has an installation base of 81 per cent, which is way higher than what Android has. Installation base, essentially, means the number of Apple devices that are running the latest version of iOS while the Android has a lower penetration rate with the latest updates on a range of devices that surpass the iPhones and iPads in numbers. Apple is continuing with the list of iPhone, iPad, and iPod models that were eligible to get the iOS 11 last year. Here are all the models that will get iOS 12.

The iOS 12 is scheduled to be released this fall for the stable builds, while the developer previews is available to download right away. The interested users can head to Apple website and download the iOS 12 Preview to test the features out early. However, it is recommended that the users who are not aware of the developer builds and how to install them manually should wait for the release of stable build later this year on the aforementioned eligible devices.
