Sanjay Dutt backs out of musical-comedy movie “Blockbuster”
Last week there were reports that Sanjay Dutt signed a musical comedy movie name Blockbuster which will be directed by Ajay and Lovel Arora. The story will be written by duo Sajid-Farhad who previously worked on Dhamaal, Golmaal Returns, and Housefull-2 scripts.

Now it comes as a surprise that Dutt decided to opt out of the film as the film was announced last week. Talking about it, a source stated, “When Sanjay met another producer friend recently, he was overheard saying that the multi-starer comedy Bittu was planning, isn’t happening anymore. He has opted out of Blockbuster and the film is on the backburner for now.”

Earlier, talking about the movie Blockbuster, Dutt said, “I have always loved doing comedy. It is the genre that makes me feel at home. The scale of Blockbuster is huge and multi-starer always connect well with audiences. I am really excited about working with Sandeep again”.
Talking with Producer Sandeep Singh, he said, “It was my dream to make a comedy with Baba. There are few people who can make you laugh like he does. It’s not just his timing that is perfect, it’s the expressions he gives that are hilarious. Wonderful to be working with Ajay and Lovel who bring years of experience and creativity to Bollywood”.

Director duo Ajay & Lovel Arora also stated that they are very excited about the movie Blockbuster all because of Sanjay Dutt as very well known director Rajkumar Hirani to David Dhawan who has debuted with Sanjay have had fabulous success.
