Zara UK Is Selling A Lungi For £70, Twitter Hilariously Trolls
Branded stuff often costs us a bomb and we pay for it just because we are simply brand conscious. But sometimes, we do feel that we have overpaid for a certain product and also regret buying it.
But there are some people, who irrespective of ignoring the price, buy stuff which costs a whopping amount. Yes, such people do exist.
Well, here’s the latest case which might make things clear about what I am trying to say.
People in the UK will might be able to mirror our sentiments A popular fast fashion brand Zara has launched a new product, a skirt, which looks exactly like an Indian lungi. Well, what’s more shocking is its price as it costs a whopping £69.99 (Rs 6,200 approximately). Yes, you heard it right!
We all must be aware of lungi which we commonly see men wearing in our country and it can’t cost more than £3 (Rs 260) or maybe even less than that.
On its UK website, the brand Zara calls the lungi-style skirt as a “flowing skirt with draped detail in the front, slit detail at the hem”.
As soon as the news started surfacing on the internet, Twitter came up with various reactions. Their reactions will surely make you go LOL.

Those are def lungis. And it looks ridiculous 😂 Some "designer" just copied the design & nobody at Zara seems to have known better.

Well, we wonder how will Zara react to the trolls!
