Twinkle Khanna On Padmavati: Is Rs 10 crores fee for beheading Deepika inclusive of GST?
Twinkle Khanna aka Mrs FunnyBones is widely known for her witty sense of humour. She doesn’t mind if she is politically incorrect or people get offended, she doesn’t miss a chance to speak her mind and opinions. No matter if she lands herself in a problem, but her words are as sharp as a sword.

This time she has chosen to speak about Padmavati Controversy. We all are aware that Deepika Padukone has got death threats for portraying the character of Rani Padmini in Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. In her latest Sunday blog for The Times Of India, Twinkle takes a jibe at Haryana BJP leader Suraj Pal Amu who offered a bounty of Rs 10 crore for beheading Deepika Padukone.

She wrote, “The silver lining to my sleep-deprived cloud is that at least I get some quiet time to acclimatize my brain as well as my body to India’s boiling climate where people are busy offering bounties: Rs 25,000 to blacken Kamal Haasan’s face, cut Farooq Abdullah’s tongue and earn Rs 21 lakh, a slap across Lalu’s son’s face could score you a cool crore and finally, of course, from Haryana BJP’s Suraj Pal Amu, a grand prize of Rs 10 crore for beheading Deepika Padukone.”

She further said, “If I had no sense of humour, I would long ago have committed suicide,” Twinkle, of course, humorously adds how all she wants to know before applying this ‘job’ for Suraj Amu is if the bounty is inclusive of GST or not, “I quickly shoot off an email to Mr Suraj Pal Amu…‘Dear Sir ji, It is lovely that you are supporting your party’s claims that the Indian economy is booming by offering such generous payment terms. I did have a question though before I apply for the job, is the beheading fee of 10 crore inclusive of GST?’ Toodles, T.”
Padmavati was initially slated for release on Dec 1. However, the release had to be stopped after receiving severe backlash from various groups around India.
