Saif told media people at the launch of Kaalakaandi’s promo in the city of Mumbai on Wednesday that when his daughter’s movie nears its due date, it will sense like one of his own’s movies releasing.
“I am happy, I am excited for her. I think when we get close to that release, it will be like my own film is releasing,” Saif Ali Khan said media people.
Kedarnath has been hitting headlines ever since it started. And why not? It is Saif-Amrita Khan’s debut movie.
Produced by KriArj Entertainment and helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film will reach theaters during the month of June 2018.
The initial look of Sara Ali Khan from the movie rolled out in recent times and folks were impressed by how much the actress resembles her mother.
Saif Ali Khan’s previous movie Chef did unresponsively at the box office in spite of being well-appraised.
When questioned, Saif said that the movie could have been advertised in a better manner.
“I don’t think it was even publicised correctly. I didn’t see enough buzz around the film. It’s ok doing interviews, but you’ve to show the trailer, show hoardings, spend some money. These days, people don’t want to spend money on marketing, they send the actors to Bigg Boss or Comedy Nights With Kapil to talk about the movie, thinking it’ll help, but it won’t,” Saif Ali Khan said.
