Ina major declaration, well known actor Sushant Singh Rajput, stated that he would always in search to work in a flick like ‘Black Swan’, which has dance as the main topic.
“If a dance-based film like Black Swan comes my way, I would readily say yes to it. I really do not pick my films thinking that I would be able to dance in it but if I get a film that has dance as the central theme, I would jump into it,” added Rajput.
He also said that dance has been a chief medium of communication in his whole life. The actor added up that he always wishes to act in flicks that are based on dance.
“Before becoming a part of theatre, I used to be a background performer. So I have acquired the skills to communicate via rhythm. Even on the sets, I keep thinking like a dancer. I keep thinking on the beat of the prospect and the nature,” Sushant also mentioned this.
The actor, who donned ex Indian cricket squad skipper M.S. Dhoni in his earlier movie, stated that he has always selected flicks that boast of an appealing screenplay and challenge him as a performer in some manner.
“I never decide my films thinking that this would do well in the market. I cannot think that way. If I find something interesting while reading the script, I go for it,” he addedd.
“Also in all my movies, be it Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story, or the double character I don in the forthcoming film, I always felt there is an factor of challenge involved in them. I firstly felt that I would not be capable of doing these characters and that’s what pushed me to say yes,” he said.
The dashing actor and Kriti Sanon are readying for their forthcoming flick Raabta and are busy in promotions of the movie. The pair was recently promoting the flick in the national capital as they captivated the people with their special dance moves.
The actress spoke to media about the film recently and said, “I liked the screenplay from day one and has stayed with me for over two years now. It’s tricky to make people believe in both characters in such a short span of time, so it was [a] challenging yet exciting [task]. I had a two-month gap between playing both characters, so that helped me with my thought course.”
