Since few days, a controversy has raised over Azaan by the popular Bollywood Singer Sonu Nigam. He had allegedly posted a tweet saying that the Azaan that comes in the morning everyday disturbs his sleep due to the sound that emerges out of the loudspeaker. His complaint on Twitter regarding the sound of Azaan has become viral and everyone reacting to it both positively and negatively. We have witnessed mixed reactions on the micro-blogging website from all Twitteratis. One of the fatwas had reacted offensively over the tweet of Sonu Nigam.
He told that he would give a reward of Rs 10 lakhs for the person who would make his head bald and make him walk across the streets with a garland of chappal. Reacting to the tweet of cleric, Sonu Nigam had ostensibly shaved off his head completely bald and asked for the reward from the fatwa. Some other people have reacted to his move and then reminded him about the chappal garland around his neck. Sonu Nigam had proved his truthfulness by shaving his head. Even after a series of controversies rising over the internet, Sonu Nigam hadn’t stopped his tweets.

The current latest news is that Sonu Nigam had posted a tweet on his Twitter account. In the tweet, we can see a video comprising of the sounds of Azaan recorded from his house. He had allegedly recorded the sounds and posted it on his Twitter handle. In a bid to prove his previous statements like usage of loudspeakers for different religious purposes, he posted this new video on micro-blogging website. He had reportedly raised the controversy once again by posting this 2 minute video by recording the Azaan from his residence.
This is a perfect answer for all those who had questioned him about the tweet. This shows that the Azaan disturbs him daily in early morning. To this video, Sonu Nigam captioned it with ‘Good Morning India’. The video features that they have shot it sometime in the evening or early in the morning.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui had recently reacted to this video posted by Sonu Nigam. It appears as a precise response to Sonu Nigam’s video. Siddiqui had posted a video on Facebook in order to put an end to the controversy of Sonu Nigam. In the video, we can see Siddiqui appearing in different attires and says that he is 16.6 percent Hindi, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist and many more. Finally, the video ended as a 100 percent artist. This eventually indicates that everyone must and should respect every religion.
