Maoist Attack in Chhattisgarh: CRPF Soldiers Killed Brutally in Sukma

On Monday, the Naxals in Sukma have reportedly killed 25 CRPF personnel in the district of Sukma in the state of Chhattisgarh. The deadly Maoists have allegedly attacked the Indian security forces. About 100 CRPF patrol have been offering security at the road construction work going on in Sukma district. This is a terrifying gunfire from the Maoist revolutionaries by occupying the vantage positions. At about 12.25 PM in Kalapathar area in South Bastar region, this attack took place unexpectedly.
This attack reportedly took place around 1 PM in the South Bastar region in Sukma district. Initially, the Maoists have sent the local people so as to check out the position of the CRPF personnel. Sher Mohammad said about the plan of Maoists to the media circles. He also said that the Naxals have reportedly carried several weapons such as AK 47, INSAS rifles and a lot more. They also set up for about 300 people including the villagers, women as well as the militia types appeared in black-coloured uniforms.
Soon after this attack, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi opposed the attack of Maoists on the personnel of CRPF that took place in the state of Chhattisgarh. He also termed their attack as ‘cowardly and deplorable’ act. The Prime Minister also stated that the sacrifice of about 25 CRPF soldiers will never go unproductive. In the attack, 25 CRPF soldiers have died and about 6 soldiers have injured severely after this attack.
“Attack on @crpfindia personnel in Chhattisgarh is cowardly & deplorable. We are monitoring the situation closely,” he tweeted.
Modi also posted a tweet on his Twitter account saying that,
“We are proud of the valour of our @crpfindia personnel. The sacrifice of the martyrs will not go in vain. Condolences to their families.”
Adding to it, the PM Modi wished that all the injured soldiers will recover soon after this attack. In one of the fatal attacks, Maoists ostensibly trapped a CRPF group in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district at about 12:25 pm, slaughtering several personnel.
