IIT Kharagpur Student Commits Suicide; Leaves A Note Behind Saying ‘Let Me Sleep’

With the passing time, the value for life is going steeping low.  Younglings these days are having no high value or priority for life.  A small wrong decision is allegedly taking a life.  Suicide attempts have been increasing day-by-day.  The decision that was taken in the heat of the moment is leaving a family shattered.
One such young lad is Nidhin N.  A fourth-year student, Nidhin N from IIT-Kharagpur has allegedly committed suicide on Friday.  He hanged himself from the ceiling fan and killed himself.  He is currently in his fourth year at IIT Kharagpur and was the student of aerospace engineering.
The police have found a suicide note in his room that read ‘Let me sleep’.  He lived at Nehru Hall B Block and committed suicide there.  His body was sent for post-mortem by the police.  Though the issue was so serious that the student killed himself, there has been no news from the side of the institute authorities over the issue.
Yet another strange thing to note here is that he hails from Kerala and is the third engineering student from the same campus to have committed suicide in this year.  Even more shockingly, this is the second suicide in this month at IIT-Kharagpur.

The cops said that he used to study at night by walking up at 2 am in the morning, but on Friday, his alarm kept on ringing which made other hostel students doubtful.  When the students in other rooms rushed to his room, they found that the room was locked from inside and he was not giving any response as well.
The hostel officials thought about his absence all the day and few students broke the window of his room only to find out that he hanged himself from the ceiling.  Immediately authorities alerted the police and Kharagpur’s additional SP and also the OC reached to the place where the incident took place to witness the dead bdoy.
Bharati Ghosh, West Midnapore SP, said that the case was under investigation and that they were analyzing the suicide note found in his room.
For the uninitiated, it was on 16th January that the first suicide of a student took place at IIT-Kharagpur and the second one took place on 30th March.  This is the third one in this year and is raising many eyebrows.
